We are a group of independent senior project & software consultants bringing decades of combined experience in a range of areas within the social housing context. We have known and worked with each other for many years in various capacities, and whilst we each have our own consultancy businesses and engage directly with clients, we also recognise that there are times when a client needs a broader set of skills. Strategic Housing Collective was born out of that demand. It enables us to provide innovative combinations of skills tailored specifically to the needs of a client, but our independence also means that we can each focus our attention on a given client when that is the right approach. Scott Kibby Laura Kennard

Scott has been an independent consultant to the housing and care sector for more than 10 years. Prior to this he held roles including Head of ICT & Performance for a Housing Association, Technical Director in an IT managed services and a period in project management in between. His experience extends into financial, risk & change management and he is often to be found offering passionate advice in linking overarching business strategies to service delivery and action plans.
Scott has been involved in implementing a wide range of IT systems over many years. In fact, in the last decade, he has been involved in well over 20 Housing Management System projects, including a high volume of go-lives. Full projects aside, Scott often engages in smaller scale interventions to unblock issues, both in live projects and in the years post go-live.
Laura is a Programme Director specialising in large-scale software implementation and transformation. With a background spanning Local Government, Housing and Homelessness, Financial Services, and Pensions. Laura has a proven track record of leading multidisciplinary teams, managing multi-million-pound portfolios, and delivering complex system integrations within challenging environments.
Laura combines strong programme and project management expertise with deep sector knowledge, particularly in Housing and Homelessness systems, automation, and AI-enabled process improvement. She is a strategic thinker with a passion for working with people to deliver tangible outcomes—modernising services, improving customer journeys, and driving efficiency across organisations.
Liam Lindon Ryan Keast

Liam has been an independent consultant wince 2025. Having spent over a decade in operational housing management roles with specialisms in allocations and neighbourhood management. Liam joined Civica in 2018 as a Cx implementation consultant. In subsequent years he moved to a business analyst role with Module lead responsibilities for allocations, voids, CORE, workflow, EDM integrations, CBL integrations, and Cx mobile. Following Civica, Liam worked as Product Manager at MRI Software. Ryan is an experienced data and technology specialist with a long track record in the UK Housing sector, working across programming, data analysis, BI development and implementation consultancy.
Highly skilled in data cleansing, transformation and reporting, partnering with organisations who are migrating to new housing management platforms or looking to strengthen their existing processes through improved integrations, automation and insight driven reporting.
Steve Szabo Nick Dyos

Steve is an independent transformation consultant specialising in asset and compliance management with over a decade of experience working within the UK social housing sector - first vendor-side with platforms including Civica Cx and Keystone Asset Management, and now directly with clients where he works with housing associations and local authorities to bridge the gap between complex housing software and operational reality. His work spans implementation, optimisation, data transformation (ETL), data integration and reporting (SQL, Power BI, Azure, REST APIs). He understands both the technical and the human side - what the software can do, and what housing teams actually need it to do. Nick worked for a major housing software provider for 20 years and has worked with SQL databases for over 30 years. He has been an independent consultant for 8 years, during which time he has worked on data migrations and reporting involving Civica Cx, Orchard, MIS ActiveH, Open Housing and Academy.
Nick’s work in housing has involved development, integration, reporting and support for a large number of housing associations across the UK. Regularly utilising his skills in C#, SQL Server, SSIS. SSRS, Power BI, web service integrations and Informix 4GL.
